PROGRAM IN E-SECRETARY
(PC Operations with Office management)
Introduction
As organizations, especially in this new millennium, restructure and reengineer themselves into new shape, secretaries in particular, have greater visibility, their workload is increasing, and many have assumed duties previously performed by management, such as budgeting, project co-ordination and public relations. The secretary’s role in the workplace is becoming more specialized, with higher concentration on software and equipment knowledge.
Secretaries should be engaged in a continuous process of learning, just like everyone else. Competition in this field allows employers to place greater demands on applicants and therefore a college education is a valuable asset.
The objective of AABC is to prepare graduates both with appropriate technical competencies and with integrating problem-solving abilities such that they may make a meaningful contribution to their profession, community and country.
To provide an understanding of human relations within an office environment and to enhance their public relation skills
Career Opportunities
